| Time for a change!! |

So...its been a while since I posted anything....Ive been busy behind the scenes having a clear out - time to "spring clean" ..... a new logo...new website...new blog...new brochures...and new online proofing system!! Time to change things around methinks!! If any clients still want access to their online gallery, please get in touch and I'll switch your images over.
Hopefully everything will be up and running in the next week or so. Please be patient if there are any teething problems....there are bound to be swapping so much over!

| Kelly Trashed her Dress! |

Kelly was married about three years ago - and decided it was time to get her dress back out and celebrate it!! Trash the dress shoots have also become known as Cherish the Dress shoots - as its a brides chance to get some stunning images just focussing on her and her dress.
After having her make up professionally applied with Louise Lunn, we set out for the day.
For Kellys shoot we chose a few different venues to really show off the looks she wanted to create.

| Wedding Photography - Becky & Ben at Eshott Hall |

Becky & Ben were married last month at one of the prettiest churches i have ever seen - St Michael & All Angels in Felton. The church comes with its resident organist - Betty - who heckles the vicar during the ceremony!!
The guests were treated to a glass of bubbly in the church grounds as it seemed a shame not to take advantage of the beautiful setting - then it was back to Eshott Hall for more drinks and canapes.
The speeches (as usual) made me cry - especially hearing of the "Breakfast at Tiffany's" inspired proposal by Ben!
The evening was topped off by the fantastic live Karoake band - Rockaoke, who I had the pleasure of working with last summer - and knew they would be perfect for Becky & Ben! |

| Wedding Photography ~ Beth & Mark at Rockliffe Hall |

Beth & Mark met on Jersey where they both now live and work, but Beth wanted to come back to her native North East for her wedding, and chose the beautiful Rockliffe Hall for their ceremony and reception.
The fab flowers are by Adam Prest , and gave a sumptuous look to the day.
You might notice it looks as if there are two grooms!! Mark has a twin brother - and to keep everyone guessing they were dressed identically as well! Cheers lads!

| Newborn Photography - Gabriel |

Last week I had the pleasure of going to photograph 3 week old Gabriel. I did a "bump" shoot with his Mum Kelly a couple of weeks before he was born, so I was excited to go back and meet him. Living up to his name he truly was an angel for the shoot (although I don't think he had been the night before!).
It's such a privilege to be asked to do a newborn shoot. It can be a time of stress, emotion and the unknown, and I see it as a real honour to be be allowed to share a few hours with new parents and record their new baby in their own home. It's a start of a whole new chapter for this family - a big adventure.

Hello blog! Remember me? Its been a while!! Not that I've not been busy taking photographs - but that I've been too busy! And too busy to take any photographs of my two gorgeous boys. Tom lost his first few teeth last week and it struck me that i hadn't taken any photographs (apart from on my phone...) of them, since its snowed before Christmas.
Today, I had a whole day off today to spend with them - so made the most of it. weather was beautiful, and I wanted to catch them in the gorgeous magnolia tree we have in the front garden whilst it was still in bloom.
These are pretty much out of the camera - but I wanted to put some up - you wont believe how they have grown since I last posted some shots of them!!

| Laura & John - Wedding at Jesmond Dene House |

Laura & John are the kind of couple that make you smile just from being with them. I had a blast shooting their pre-wedding shoot on the Quayside earlier in the year - and then joining them for a sneaky glass of wine at Malmaison afterwards!
I knew that their wedding would be a special one, and was over the moon when it turned into my first snowy wedding of the winter! As you can see Laura fully embraced the snow theme - and used it as a really good excuse for a new pair of wellies!!
It was truly a pleasure to capture their day for them - I smiled all the time I was editing the images! I hope you like them.
