| The perfect Valentines gift...boudoir! |
March 14, 2010 |

I know its not even Christmas yet - but we are thinking ahead to Valentines Day!! We do lots of boudoir shoots at the start of the year, so that you can give your other half a cheeky book of images for valentines Day. Or sometimes its the men who buy a voucher for the shoot to give as a gift....a win, win situation!!
Obviously, the majority of our clients prefer to keep their images to themselves, but a very brave client agreed to let us use her images in publicity material.
We have a few slots left for shoots in time for Valentines day, and if you book before 15th January, you will receive £50 off the shoot fee. Give us a call or Email us to find our more!!
Click on the arrow below to have a look at the kind of thind we do. |

| ...baby its cold outside |
March 13, 2010 |

This morning I had to scrape ice off the car......it was FREEZING! But then went on and did a portrait shoot at a park mid morning. Just because its cold outside, we dont stop doing our portrait shoots! Some of our favourite shoots have been done in the winter - we just all get wrapped up well, and run around a lot!!
I have put together a slideshow of a few of our winter shoots including some of my boys (sorry - couldnt resist!).
We still have a few slots available for shoots before Christmas, and lots of clients are treating friends and family to a voucher for a shoot as a Christmas present. Give us a call if you are interested!

| Tiny Lives Charity Dinner, Ellingham Hall |
January 27, 2010 |

Last weekend, the gorgeous Ellingham Hall in Northumberland played host to the Tiny Lives charity dinner. The night was a huge success and Jane Robson, who did a truly amazing job pulling the night together, tells us that an estimated £10,000 was raised for the charity. As some of you may know, we support Tiny Lives here at Alison Groves Photography and the valuable work they do supporting premature babies and their families, based at the RVI in Newcastle.
What an amazing setting |

| Oysters!! Say Ali, have you ever tried an oyster? No!! Well, tonights the perfect opportunity. Go on....... |

| The tentative approach....... |

| The nervous giggle........ |

| Mmmmm, not so bad afterall?!?!? |

| And she lives to tell the tale. |

| Well done!!!!! A round of applause if you please. |

| Ryan & Linzy |
November 30, 2009 |

| Ryan and Linzy got married between Christmas and New Years on a snowy winters day. Beamish Hall was the perfect reception venue and the day was an absolute joy to photograph, not least of all because Linzy, Ryan and their families had me laughing all day. Here are some shots they might like to choose for a thank you card!! |

| Endless love... |
November 11, 2009 |

| I spend a lot of my time photographing couples at the start of their journey together, but a few weeks ago at a wedding I just caught this image of the Brides grandparents. Its not the best image - not even very sharp - but I think it speaks a thousand words. x |

| North Bradbury Farm |
November 8, 2009 |

Over the half term break, I took my boys down to Devon to stay at North Bradbury Farm. Our hosts, Chris & Tracey Wilson have two cottages on their farm in the converted stables and cider press. We couldn't have felt more welcome!
Chris takes the kids out to feed the animals morning and night....chickens (who provided us with delicious eggs for our soldiers!), ducks, pigs (bubble and squeak), the horses......the boys absolutely loved it - and after only one go at feeding, Tom was the expert!!
We are trying to find a time to go back - but they are so popular its proving difficult!! I should really keep this gem to myself - but couldnt help wanting to share!!
check out the website at NORTH BRADBURY FARM |

| The boys spent all week in their wellies and waterproof trousers - essential kit!! |

Whilst we were there Trouper and Torrent arrived! Check those ears!!
Click on the slideshow below to see more images from the week including a trip to Diggerland! |
