What can I tell you about the Carpanis? They were an infectiously happy family who were enjoying a brilliant holiday on the Northumberland Coast. They told me that they were inspired by their beautiful surroundings enough to brave a family portrait. And as you can tell, it paid off - we had a blast! In fact we had such a nice time at Bamburgh, that I took my family there the following weekend.

| Coastal Retreats |

We first met the lovely Leaver family in 2008 when they were staying at a Coastal Retreats cottage up in Northumberland. At that time they were five.....now they are six, and so we did another shoot for them last week to include the new addition, George!!
We do lots of shoots for Coastal Retreats clients whilst they are on holiday. Its a perfect opportunity to get some family shots whilst you are all together, relaxed and having fun!

Whilst we were down in Battersea I caught up with Nadya and her little girl Chloe. I shot Nadya's wedding to Robin in 2008, when Chloe was just a baby. so it was lovely to catch up with them again! We included Chloe's little playmate Charlotte in the shoot, and let them run around Battersea Park - it was the best way to keep warm!!

| ...baby its cold outside |

This morning I had to scrape ice off the car......it was FREEZING! But then went on and did a portrait shoot at a park mid morning. Just because its cold outside, we dont stop doing our portrait shoots! Some of our favourite shoots have been done in the winter - we just all get wrapped up well, and run around a lot!!
I have put together a slideshow of a few of our winter shoots including some of my boys (sorry - couldnt resist!).
We still have a few slots available for shoots before Christmas, and lots of clients are treating friends and family to a voucher for a shoot as a Christmas present. Give us a call if you are interested!

| Sheila's babies... |

A couple of months ago, Bec and I travelled up to Glasgow to do a wedding with 88 Events. Sheila from 88 Events had asked us to do a shoot of "her babies" ...four gorgeous grand daughters at her house. We got there to be greeted by 4 pink fairies!! in high heels!! ps the music on the slideshow is what the girls were dancing to in the garden.......Sheila's choice - not mine!!

I first met Jo & Jon Cook when I shot their wedding, back in 2003. Since then I have also done a shoot when Freya was first born in 2006, and so was over the moon to hear from them again a few weeks ago, to ask me to do another family shoot, with little George, who was born in June.
We met at Jesmond Dene. so that Freya could be occupied with the animals at Pets Corner.......although the ice cream van proved to be more of a distraction!!
Jo & Jon, shall I book you in the diary for another 3 years time??

Bec had a fantastic time last week with the gorgeous Alison family, while they were holidaying at Bumburgh. 5 year old twins Katie and Issy provided heaps of entertainment and all three generations of the family were up for anything and everything, including a few fierce piggyback races!!!
The shoot was done to celebrate the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Jack and Margaret. What a lovely way to celebrate and keep treasured memories from their holiday together.

| I met Jonah's Mum and Dad a few days before he was born, to do a bump shoot, and then went back to meet him when he was a week old at their house. I know they have been struggling to get any images out to friends - so here are a few! Hope you all like them! |
