| Pre-wedding shoots....with an urban decay theme....!! |

I met with two of this year's wedding couples on Saturday for their pre-wedding shoots. This is where we have a chance to get to know each other a bit before the wedding day, and have a bit of fun with some photos. I haven't had much chance to take advantage of the surroundings in the Ouseburn Valley since we moved here, but Saturday morning was lovely - so we went outside.......

| Next up was Liz & Mark.........the idea was to get some shots with their dog in.......she was not up for a spot of modelling though, and was soon dispatched with Liz's Mum, so that we could get on! |

| In mid February I did a shoot with two very cute kids - Olivia and Joseph. We had a really thick frost that morning, so we wrapped up and went exploring in the garden. |

| Boudoir Marathon Dates |

OK, we are getting a huge response from our boudoir work, and have decided to take our lead from how they do things in the states. A "boudoir marathon" may sound a bit strange - but it is basically a day I will block out in my diary just to do back to back boudoir shoots.
We are just putting everything in place - the make-up artist / hairdresser, and of course, the venue, and will release the dates next week - so watch this space!! Bookings will be on a first come first served basis, with 4 time slots available.

| Just a little post to say Congratulations to my sister Linds, and her partner Lloyd, on the birth of little Jack on Friday!! A little brother to Jasmine. I popped over to see them all today, so here's a first look at the little man! |

| I met with one of my wedding couples yesterday - Dawn & Mark who are getting married at Matfen Hall at the end of May. They have a beautiful little girl Lauren, who I am sure will be the centre of attention on the wedding day! After chatting about the wedding details, we all went down to the beach to get some shots. |

| The Leaver family |

I spent a lovely few hours in Northumberland on Tuesday doing a shoot for the Leavers and their gorgeous kids. They were staying at Nook End Cottage in Swinhoe. Its one of the cottages available through Coastal Retreats .
We spent a very cold half an hour in the garden to let the kids run around and play with all the toys that come with the holiday cottage, then back inside to warm up, read and dress up!!

| Sinead & Chris got married on Saturday at St Josephs in Birtley, and then Lumley Castle. I promised them I would post some photos for them to look at while on honeymoon! Hope you like them and enjoy Mexico! |

| Ophelia Fashion Show |

Last night Ophelia held a charity fashion show in aid of the Percy Hedley Foundation. We had donated a prize of a boudoir shoot, and so I went along for a few hours to take some shots.

| Jocelyn Maxfield of Tom's Companies is the Chair of the Appeal Committee at The Percy Hedley Foundation, and gave us all some information about the amazing work of the Foundation, and its new Hillcrest Northern Counties Nursery in Jesmond. |

| Jo & Jay actually got married last July at Seaham Hall, but have just been over to the studio to choose the images for their album. It reminded me what a gorgeous day it was (maybe not the weather - but everything else!!), and how cute their little girl Amaya looked in her bridesmaids dress. |
